The TV series pitch competition, which takes place in the Newen Studios metaverse, is revolutionizing the audiovisual industry this year by marrying creators’ imagination with the power of artificial intelligence.

Newen Studios, one of Europe’s leading audiovisual groups, is proud to announce the return of its event, the META PITCH CONTEST, for a second season that’s even more innovative and captivating.

The META PITCH CONTEST is a one-of-a-kind competition, offering participants the opportunity to present their TV series project in a virtual environment (without a headset) specially designed for the occasion. This year, the competition pushes the boundaries of creativity by requiring participants to create a trailer for their series project, with a maximum duration of 3 minutes, using tools that incorporate artificial intelligence. This development adds a new dimension to the competition, allowing participants to bring their vision to life in an even more spectacular way.

The top 6 selected trailers will provide their creators with the exclusive opportunity to present their project in our metaverse before a prestigious jury composed of international producers, distributors, acquisition executives, and media professionals. Two finalists will be invited to pitch in a final in-person battle during the Forum Series Mania in France, as part of the Series Mania Institute, next March. The winner will have the exceptional opportunity to receive support for the development of their project. An audience award will also be presented on the final day.

There are no specific format constraints for TV series projects; however, an inspiring theme will be revealed at the opening of the competition, which will take place on October 30th.
