LISA, the new daily series of De Mensen, from 25 January on VTM Belgium!

What if your sister managed to get your dream job and the Charming Prince, all because you’re too shy to do it yourself?

Tinne Oltmans plays the role of Lisa, who dreams of a creative career in a trendy marketing agency near her home. She lives there with her mother and ambitious half-sister Katja, played by Anouck Luyten. The sisters look with wide-eyed eyes at the dazzling world of creators, bloggers, influencers and social media wizards, and one young man in particular: Jonas – a role of Oscar Willems -, a salesman and son of the owners of the company. Lisa wants to give her life an adrenaline rush by getting a job in the company. She certainly has the talent and creativity to achieve this. But will she dare? So far she hasn’t been able to go anywhere because of her extreme shyness, and she has to watch with sadness how Katja regularly runs away with her ideas. Will Lisa, step by step, overcome her shyness, and amaze the world – including Jonas – with her talent?

The screenplay is by Hugo Van Laere (Sara, Family) and his team, with Elias Mentzel (#LikeMe, Family) as director. Lisa is a co-production by De Mensen and Gardner and Domm, in collaboration with the city of Vilvoorde.
